Pike Fishing in the Lakes of Murjek

Available from 15th of May - 30th of October - Groups of 4 to 14 people.

Travelapland is based in Murjek, so we know it well. There are four cabins (up to 14 people in total) within the village. The cabins are located next to a service house that includes a kitchen, two saunas, a laundry room and drying room,toilet and shower facilities.

All meals are provided by the locally run village cafe and there is a small shop located in the train station where you can buy basic provisions, send postcards etc.

Murjek is surrounded by hundreds of lakes varying in size and stock. There are also a number of cabins located in the forests near to some of the major lakes. These cabins can form part of your overnight stay, or simply be used for your daily visits to eat lunch and relax.

Day 1-5 After breakfast each morning you will be collected and taken to one of the local lakes surrounding Murjek. Your guide Rolf Johansson will spend an hour with you and show you the best areas to fish around the lake of the day. He will return in the late morning each day to cook you an outdoor Lapland lunch. In the evening you will collected and taken back to your cabin to get ready for your evening meal.

              

Option 1 - Price: Swedish Kr 4,200 per person

This option excludes transfers to and from Luleå Kallax Airport and fishing equipment.

Price includes: VAT, locally based qualified professional fishing guide 2 hours each day, 4 bed cabins, (Prices are based on 4 people sharing a cabin, a supplement will apply for own cabin with less than 4 people), use of the fully equipped service house including showers, sauna and clothes washing room, all meals (breakfast, lunch and evening meal), fishing licenses and safety equipment.
Price Excludes: Flights, transfers to and from Luleå Kallax Airport, fishing equipment and any alcoholic beverages.

Option 2 - Price: Swedish Kr 7,300 per person

This option includes transfers to and from Luleå Kallax Airport and all fishing equipment.

Price includes: VAT, locally based qualified professional fishing guide 2 hours each day, 4 bed cabins, (prices are based on 4 people sharing a cabin, a supplement will apply for own cabin with less than 4 people) use of the fully equipped service house including showers, sauna and clothes washing room, all meals (breakfast, lunch and evening meal), fishing licenses, fishing equipment, safety equipment and transfers to and from Luleå Kallax Airport.
